The white stripes have been replaced by headquarters names (Eisenhower, Patton, Bradley), by the names of the ten sectors on the beaches (Easy Red, Fox Green, Fox White…), by names of mythical military equipments (the willys jeep, the douglas C-47 skytrain, the military glider waco CG-4)
