This design pays tribute to the first soldiers who landed in Normandy in June 44.
We can recognize the patches of 5 divisions :
The first Infantry Division (Omaha Beach)
The 29th Infantry Division (Omaha Beach)
The 4th Infantry Division (Utah Beach)
The 82nd Airborne Division (near Sainte Mère Eglise)
The 101st Airborne Division (near Sainte Mère Eglise)
There is also the patch of the 2nd Ranger Battalion (Pointe du Hoc)
